DESCRIPTION:
Family seeking a reliable and responsible after-school nanny to provide nurturing care during the after-school through early evening hours. Nanny will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children while fostering a stimulating and engaging environment. Pick up children from school and safely transport them to home and/or various after-school activities or appointments as needed. Provide assistance and academic support with homework assignments and learning enrichment activities. Prepare after-school snacks upon arrival at home. Begin dinner and oversee dinner meal period as needed. Engage the children in age-appropriate games, activities (indoors and outdoors), and creative play to promote their social and cognitive development. Tidy up after activities, including rinsing lunchboxes, water bottles, snacks, and dinner dishes, and loading the dishwasher. Nanny with a background in Early Childhood Development is preferred, not required. Trustworthy and dependable. Ability to engage in physical activities and keep up with energetic elementary-aged boys. Other duties will include kid’s laundry and errands (groceries) while children are in school.
