DESCRIPTION: Outgoing and hardworking family is looking for a trustworthy and self-motivated nanny to care for their girls. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny that has flexibility and is looking for part time hours on an ongoing basis. Family is looking for a nanny to care for their girls while they are on business trips, including overnight care. Nanny is estimated to work anywhere between 5-15 days per month, but averaging 10 days per month. Days and schedule will vary. Nanny is required to have ability to stay overnight as the parent’s trips will be days at a time. The family will know their schedule a bit in advance providing the nanny a few weeks’ notice. A nanny with experience working with both infant and toddler age groups is required. Ideal nanny will enjoy having fun and engaging with the girls on their level, incorporating sensory activities for the girls’ developmental milestones. Family would love for the nanny to take the girls on walks, to the park, or to fun activities. They have described their perfect candidate as someone who understands the importance of play in their work as a nanny. Nanny will have complete independence with the children, so someone who is comfortable and confident in creating arts and crafts projects, loves to read, and is a confident swimmer are all musts. Family has a pool and the girls love to swim. Ideally looking for someone easy-going and can help to maintain their sleep schedules but can also handle the challenges that come with toddlers at times. A nanny who enjoys cooking is a plus, but a nanny with basic cooking skills is required. Family is looking for a long-term nanny. Family does have 1 cat and fish. Pet care will be minimal; feeding/watering and checking litterbox and feeding fish. They are also offering a gas stipend, occasional car cleanings as nanny will be using their own vehicle to transport girls, groceries supplied for the nanny while working in the family’s home for the days/nights needed. Additional responsibilities will include; helping to keep home tidy, children’s laundry, meal and snack prep, cooking, kitchen tidying, assisting with sweeping up if needed.
