DESCRIPTION:
South Tampa family looking for an experienced nanny to assist their family as a mother’s helper, and also to care for their sweet baby boy. Position likely to end in June 2024, but could last one year longer. 35 regular hours a week guaranteed and possibly more. Must have experience with infant and toddler nap schedule transitions, understand wake windows, and help with food transitions as he grows. Ideal nanny understands all developmental milestones and will assist in helping the child meet each one; how to walk, talk, eat, write, etc. Looking for a nanny to regularly incorporate sensory activities in the infant’s day to day, adapting the activities and schedule as he develops into a toddler. Looking for a nanny that has experience caring for two children should both children be home which will happen occasionally. Nanny must be professional and maintain appropriate personal and work boundaries. Quiet family who appreciates a positive work environment, free from persona drama. Nanny must also be comfortable with parents occasionally working from home, and permitting them to do their work. Must be ok with occasionally caring for sick children, and wearing masks as necessary to do so. There are nanny/security cameras throughout the home. Additional responsibilities during infant’s nap time will include, but are not limited to: doing children’s laundry and changing their bed linens, cleaning up and organizing toys, prepping baby food, emptying & loading dishwasher, tidying up kitchen, wiping down dining tables and highchair, straightening up common areas daily including light vacuuming as needed. A nanny who has great household organization skills is a huge plus!
Family does have one dog and nanny must be comfortable around him (46lbs).
Pay: $20-22 DOE first year base salary with a potential for a raise the second year, and occasional bonuses. Employer to pay a portion of taxes also.
