DESCRIPTION:
Supervisors Who Care provides experienced Supervisors to oversee the visitation of a parent who has requested or has been court-ordered to have Supervised Visitation. The Supervisor shall be in close proximity to the child/children at all times during the scheduled visitation
The supervisor ensures that the visitation guidelines set by the court or social services are followed, and they may also be required to document the interactions during the visit. Additionally, the supervisor must prioritize the safety and well-being of the child throughout the visitation process, while providing support and guidance to both the parent and child as needed.
A background in social work or similar experience is preferred. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain neutral and objective in potentially sensitive situations.
The supervised visitation monitor should be knowledgeable about child development and family dynamics, and be able to handle any conflicts or issues that may arise during the visitation. They must also maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
